Looking forward to 2010, we at Ion take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support - and to wish you a prosperous and healthy New Year.

Most of you have enjoyed many years of working with ion, and have in that time have continued to benefit from the ongoing developments. To newer customers it will soon be as clear as your water that we are committed to continuing to grow from strength to strength. This is mainly due to the level of training and commitment of the ever growing Ion Team. And in part due to having implemented procedures to LCA and ISO9001:2008 and the work in progress to be accredited ISO14001 and OHSAS8001 in the course of 2010.

It's always great to get positive recognition from the business world, and Ion being among the finalists in the North Lanarkshire Business Awards (the first time we entered) was recognition indeed and encouraging, in a difficult period of recession that has impacted on all of us.

Ion used this period to get a little closer to understanding how best to meet your exacting standards cost effectively. This necessitated remaining at the forefront in research and development of products and services. Also listening to you, understanding your needs and using out expertise to find solutions that work for you. This approach has in fact helped grow Ion in stature.

The resulting demand has been encouraging, and we are aware Ion's reputation as Scotland's preferred provider has travelled South of the Border. And so have we. To respond we have increased the Ion task force from 32 to 41 individuals; all trained to the Ion standard, and have launched Ion in North East England, operating from our new Gateshead offices.
